- Transportation: Car (parked under highway)
- So bagstuffing set up got me 12 hours of credit. But seriously, it was hard work. We had to unbox all of the swag from the sponsors so that it could be placed in bags during bagstuffing. I must say that after a day of this my box cutter stills are much improved.
- After bagstuffing, Em and I grabbed dinner at Thai Passion. Inexpensive and tasty.

- Info Booth: Hilton. Extremely slow but the chef gave me a free Greek Salad for dinner.

Thursday 3/13:- Transportation: Bike
- Afternoon activities: Trick-or-Treating with Lori. Scored free stuff at Flamingo Cantina, Cedar Door, and Maggie May's. Saw the Constantines and Shout Out Louds at the Onion A/V party. Went to the Fader Fort for free drinks, the confessional booth, and completely dorking out with the people who were doing alterations on site. Took a cab back to Em's to drop off my loot. Em dropped me off at the convention center in time to catch Bulletproof Salesman. I also did a 30 minute shift at the info booth in exchange for a place to charge my cell phone.
- Evening: Caught N.E.R.D at the Fader Fort. Went to see Evangelical, Explorers Club and Bon Iver at the Mowhawk. Then it was off to See El-P and Dizzie Rascal at the Scoot Inn. After this I moved out of Em's house and went home (she had house guests).

- Daytime: Trick-or-Treating with Lori. Bust at Habana (DJ set by Sheila B), Burbon Rocks, Music bag pick up and Trade Fair. Dropped stuff off at the car and went to Waterloo Park. I managed to catch Kimya Dawson (of recent Juno fame),
- Evening activities: Met Em at Gingerman. Had a really nice dinner at Taverna. I had the Caprese, the Walnut stuffed Ravioli with Mushroom Sauce and we split a bottle of wine. Dinner was just over $100 but having spent next to nothing this last week I decided to splurge. We hit Emo's for Ra Ra Riot, caught Bound Stems at B.D. Riley's, then saw MSTRKRFT (They put out great albums but I have to say that they don't put on a great live performance) at Vice.
Sunday 3/16:I got home at 3am and washed SXSW out of my hair. I decided that I should start the laundry as well. I woke up around 2 this afternoon and started sorting out the piles of loot.
Free stuff: a ton of CDs, some DVDs, 2 messenger bags, some shirts, and some books. I also ended up with the assortment of buttons, bottle openers and coozies.
Money Spent: a grand total of $115.50 was spent over 10 days (half of that was on day 10 for that amazing dinner). An average of $12 a day isn't bad (food, cab, non-alcoholic drinks, tips, and concert ticket). I only paid for 1 drink during the entire week. I did tip every now and then for the free drinks.
