Project Updates:

I decided to take a break. I am finding my motivation. I will keep the site going but I think I may change it up in the new year.

What did I learn this past week?

• The sewer overflow pipe had lost it's cap. Not only that, it had been covered up by a large rock. Apparently the threaded part of the PVC pipe had broken and become lodged inside the pipe. This is what had prevented my toilets from flushing.
• It can't hurt to ask for things in the middle of a team meeting. The worse thing that can happen is that they say no (I work for the gov't, they don't fire people).
• Allergies suck. Claritin is not working right now.
• I am making a point to hang out with friends more. I realize that there is a high chance of me becoming feral (if I'm not already there).
• Facebook is evil. If you have firefox as your browser there are a few things you should do to protect yourself.

• Sewing: I've been working on my recycled sweater project. I am all about hats and armwarmers right now.
• Cooking: Hot spinach artichoke salad. Quick and tasty. I don't use olive oil, just the marinade from the artichoke hearts.
  

Once again, the update is late...
What did I learn this past week?

• Wireless internet is the way to go. I have finally caved and bought myself a wireless router.
  
• I sold the last of my co-workers guitars. I sold a total of 5 and made $300. I managed to offload all of them on Craigslist.
• I can fit a dresser in my car.
  
• This season of Project Runway isn't that great. The recaps are way better. Check out bloggingprojectrunway.blogspot.com
• The plumbing at the house is still sketchy. The tree root stuff has not created the miracle I needed to occur. I called the plumber though.
• I had the exterminator come over. It's been a year. The silverfish count was up to 4 so I knew I should do something about it.
• I created a facebook account. I am not sure that I like it though.
  

• Sewing: The jeans are done. I've moved on to finishing up old projects that were in the closet. Handmade Xmas presents, here we come.
• Baking: I made ziti.
