National Sun Safety week
I will admit that at 30 years old, I still wear baby sunblock, spf 60ish. 1. Because it is smart, 2. I will look young forever, and 3. I have dark skin and I don't have an indicator to tell me that I have had too much sun.
What did I learn this past week?
- An old dance student and friend of mine was on "So you think you can dance?"
- I don't think I will ever get tired of playing the "I was right" game.
- I took apart my newly acquired sewing machine. I was gifted one last week. It wasn't in bad shape. It just needed a new bobbin case and a thorough cleaning.
- Sewing: I am working on a new bookbag pattern. I made a mini hobo bag. I did some work on Megan's Dickies workwear pencil skirt. I finished a few shirts and continued to reorganize my sewing area.
- Yard: The mosquitoes are winning.
