Save Your Vision Week
I think that in celebration of saving my vision, I should go out and by that giant flat-screen tv.
What did I learn this past week?
- I went to a SXSW volunteer meeting. Apparently they are running low on volunteers this year. I also learned that they won't allow us to alter our shirts (as I did last year).
- My cat must know that it is time to go to the vet for his shots. He only shows up on days that I can't take him to the vet. I was off on Friday and he was MIA. He shows up on Sunday, when the vet is closed.
- Work stress is caused by management culture. Apparently an article has been circulating around work on this topic. SO true. If management would fire the stupid people, work would be less stressful. Management is so worried about moral, they should be looking at fairness.
- Sewing: I finished my jacket and I cut out 3 pairs of pants. I spent a large chunk of Saturday revamping my lesson plan.
- Soul Cleansing: I bought my first major piece of fitness equipment. I know that I was totally hooked on the pilates ring. But, the ring offers no cardio. So, I shopped around on Craigslist and found The Gazelle Supra for $30. I hate running but this is no impact running. I dig no impact running. I can do it inside, in front of the TV, where I am safe from allergens.
