National Week of Solidarity with the Peoples Struggling against Racism and Racial Discrimination.

Normally I don't talk about it. But I have been blogging about it quite a bit lately. The subject of my race. I blame the many lectures I have attended on appearances and reputation.

What did I learn this past week?

  • I discovered a few "new" old friends at SXSW. I've made an attempt to keep track of them during the year now.
  • My mom's hands turned blue and the doctor thinks that she may have carpal tunnel.
  • I can still survive a week of SXSW with minimal sleep at age 30.
  • It had been over a month since I went grocery shopping.
Projects!
  • Websites: I discovered that there was no RSS feed for Spinsta.net. The StatTraq plugin was causing some problems. Thank you google for helping me find the answer to that one.
  • Sewing: I finished 3 pairs of pants (they had been started for awhile). I've been tasked with altering a prom dress. I will let you know how that goes.
  • Yard: Mowing season has begun. I've been trying to keep the mikweed and dandelions in check.
  • Soul cleansing: The Gazelle rocks! I feel a little less guilty about watching tv now. I just want a bigger TV. I watched Pulp Fiction while on the Gazelle the other day. I had to resist switching to the full screen view.
